Isokinetic Stack & Air Emission Monitoring

Trained and certified technicians have the ability and skill to carry out sampling of gasses from chimneys and stacks of different sources including from boilers, fume hoods, exhaust, paint shops, power generators, etc.

The main standard of gases emission sampling is Malaysian Standard MS 1569:2003.The parameters of testing are mainly based on the Clean Air Regulation 2014.

Boundary Noise Monitoring

Noise is commonly defined as unwanted sound, independent of loudness that can produce a desired physiological or psychological effect in an individual, and that may interfere with the social ends of an individual or group.

Ambient Noise includes all sounds presents in the environment as per Environmental Quality Act 1974,Part IV, Prohibition and control of pollution, Regulation 23, Restrictions on noise pollutions.

Water Quality Monitoring

Environmental Quality Act 1974: Environmental Quality (Sewage) Regulations 2009 .The Regulations, among others, require the operation of the sewage treatment system to be supervised by competent persons. The owner is also required to operate and maintain the systems in accordance with sound engineering practice.

Environmental Quality Act 1974: Environmental Quality (Industrial Effluent) Regulations 2009. These Regulations apply to any premises which discharge or release industrial effluent or mixed effluent onto or into any soil, or into any inland water.

Ambient Air Monitoring

New Ambient Air Quality Standard was established in order to replace the older Malaysia Ambient Air Quality Guideline that has been used since 1989.

The New Ambient Air Quality Standard adopts 6 air pollutants criteria that include 5 existing air pollutants which are particulate matter with the size of less than 10 micron (PM10), Sulfur Dioxide (SO2), Carbon Monoxide (CO), Nitrogen Dioxide (NO2), and ground level Ozone (O3) as well as 1 additional parameter which is particulate matter with the size of less than 2.5 micron (PM2.5).

Vibration Test

Noise-induced hearing loss is recognized as a priority workrelated disease for employees. Workers’ hearing must be protected, coming under local and international regulations.

Exposure to vibration is usually associated with exposure to noise, and the physics of vibration and noise are similar.
